Hi, I'm Shelby! In 2023, I joyfully embraced farm living, driven by a dream to craft a life full of purpose, connection, and the simple delight of nurturing living beings.
What started with a cozy flock of chickens quickly blossomed into a vibrant farm. What began with a modest flock of chickens has since evolved into a thriving and vibrant farm. Today, Spinning Arrow Acres has grown to include a herd of approximately 12 Katahdin sheep, 6 goats, an alpaca, and a variety of poultry—each a cherished member of our ever-growing, close-knit farm family.
Daily Adventures
Every day on the farm is a new adventure. From early morning feedings to evening cuddles with our animals, I am constantly learning and evolving. My children have become little farmers in their own right, eagerly helping with chores and discovering the magic of nature. Together, we’ve created a space where curiosity thrives, and every day is an opportunity to learn something new about our animals and the land we cherish.

I believe in the power of community and the importance of sharing our experiences. At Spinning Arrow Acres, we offer boarding services that allow others to immerse themselves in farm life and experience the joys of agriculture firsthand. I love connecting with our neighbors, exchanging stories, and supporting local initiatives. Whether it’s hosting farm tours, participating in community events, or sharing our triumphs and challenges on social media, I am committed to fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration.
